Five Notable Companies Partner with Linton University College

Mantin, Negeri Sembilan; 23 May 2018 – Linton University College signed 5 Memorandums of Understanding this morning as it moves forward in expanding its partnership with the industry towards providing career opportunities for its students and graduates. The notable five who came onboard this venture with Linton were Agenda Suria Communication Sdn Bhd, WRP Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd, Adasta Network Sdn Bhd, NL Scientific Instruments Sdn Bhd, and LFP Solution Consultancy.

At the signing ceremony, Linton’s Vice-Chancellor, Dr Kamis Awang, addressed the VIPs and guests in his speech in which he shared his pride in the auspiciousness of this milestone and the direction in which Linton is heading - as a mark of progress that will benefit the students and graduates of Linton University College and its Affiliated Institutes.

Guests were given the opportunity to hear from the representatives of each company about their visions and plans in their collaboration with Linton University College, and the business scope and capacity of their company in the industry both locally and internationally.

Mr Jaggarao Simancha - Founder and CEO of Agenda Suria Communication Sdn Bhd got the ball rolling with his speech followed by Mdm Ruth Lim - Head of Department Human Capital & Admin of WRP Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd, Mdm Bhaawaani – Director of Adasta Network Sdn Bhd, Mr Eric Kho Gee Kin - Sales Director of NL Scientific Instruments Sdn Bhd and Mdm Fanny Juan Pui Fung - Group Sales Manager of LFP Solution Consultancy.

Students from each field of study offered under the faculties in Linton can benefit from the various fields of employment and internships from each of the companies present in today’s ceremony. From accounting and business to Engineering, IT and Graphic Design, the variety of prospects show a promising future to the employability rate and professional skills that would be open to the younger generation in Linton.

The MOU was signed by the Vice-Chancellor on behalf of the Institution, Mr Jaggaro on behalf of Agenda Suria, Mdm Ruth on behalf of WRP Asia Pacific, Mdm Bhaawaani on behalf of Adasta Network, Mr Eric on behalf of NL Scientific Instruments, and Mdm Fanny on behalf of LFP Solution Consultancy. The ceremony was witnessed by the Heads of Department and Faculty Deans of Linton University College and its Affiliated Institutes, and co-representatives of each company. The signing of these MOUs marks a significant landmark in Linton’s partnership initiatives towards enhancing academic and training programmes. 

The ceremony proceeded with lunch and Career Talk was held in the afternoon at the auditorium whereby each company had the chance to showcase their company profile, expectations and opportunities to the students in the campus. | LUC
